Here is an interesting Capo design from D’Addario, expanding on their NS Artist Capo series they have created a Capo designed to simulate DADGAD tuning as well as one that simulates Drop D although I don’t really see the point in the latter unless you particularly want to play in Drop E? I reviewed the NS Artist Capo last April and I was amazed at how incredibly easy their patented tri-action geometry makes opening and closing the capo.
“Built as a natural expansion to our popular NS Artist Capo line,” says D’Addario Accessories Product Manager, Rob Cunningham, “the Drop Tune and Artist DADGAD Capos will allow guitarists to experiment
with altered tunings on standard tuned guitars.”
These three new capos will retail for USD$33.65 each and will be available from January 2015.
