As if Joe Satriani isn’t busy enough with his recent galivanting around the world with a little band called Chickenfoot he has somehow found a gap in his schedule long enough to squeeze in a quick UK Tour, just six dates starting Sunday 17th October at the Manchester Apollo, then the Bristol Colston Hall on the 18th, the London HMV Hammersmith Apollo on the 19th, Newcastle City Hall on the 21st, Glasgow Clyde Auditorium on the 22nd and finally my home city Birmingham Symphony Hall on the 23rd.

The tour is set to coincide with the release of Satriani’s 11th studio album, does this man never run out of ideas?! Apparently not.

Joe’s special guest for the evening will be Irish guitarist Simon Mcbride who at age 15 was Guitarist Magazine’s Young Guitarist of the Year. Soon after that, he was touring the world with bands and artists as diverse as Sweet Savage (Vivian Campbell/Def Leppard) and Grammy-nominated Andrew Strong (Commitments).
