That’s right just watch the slider above to see how the neck on these new traveller friendly acoustic guitars from Fender have a hinged neck (called Voyage-Air™) that folds over to make them extra-portable. This isn’t a new idea as such but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it on an acoustic guitar. There are two available models, the CD-140S VA and the CD-60 VA. Both models features a spruce top with quartersawn standard “X” bracing, mahogany back and sides and mahogany neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with 3mm dot inlays, rosewood bridge with compensated synthetic bone saddle and white with black-dot bridge pins and a special gig bag.
So what do you think? Do you need an acoustic that is more portable?
