When TC Electronic announced the TonePrint pedals I thought they sounded really cool but I really didn’t understand what this meant, I thought the TonePrint setting on the pedals just engaged a preset which yes it kind of does but it does way more than that. The TonePrint is actually a completely re-programmed version of the pedals parameters that you can’t access by default using the control knobs, it all happens under the hood with TC’s special software when they are working with an artist. The best way to understand this is to download the free TC Electronic TonePrint iPhone App and go into the video sections for each saved TonePrint and watch the artists setting up their sounds, it will make way more sense than me!
The purpose of the demo above is that I want to walk you through how simple it is to beam the TonePrint from the iPhone App to your pedal via your pickups, rather than demonstrate individual TonePrints, those will be coming soon in my demos of the Shaker Vibrato and Corona Chorus pedals.
