Remember a couple of months ago when I posted about Alex Skolnick and Chris Broderick’s Winter Guitar Retreat? Well now Paul Gilbert is organising an epic guitar retreat of his own called the ‘Paul Gilbert Great Guitar Escape’ at the same venue: Full Moon Resort, Big Indian, NY.
Paul Gilbert’s Great Guitar Escape is a week of workshops, performances, and musical inspiration from Paul Gilbert and some of the most amazing guitarists on the planet… al set in a beautiful mountain retreat.

So who has Paul assembled? Guthrie Govan, Tony MacAlpine, Kid Andersen, Scotty Johnson, Sam Coulson as well as Tom Size for production workshops. It’s cool to see Sam Coulson in there, Paul commented recently that he saw this young UK guitarist on YouTube and he became one of his favourite players!
