Jackson Guitars have announced 6 new models are going to be available as of next month from their affordable X Series range. The new models all feature a carved top body and are available in a number of finishes. There are four new 6 string models and two 7 string guitars, pictured above is the SLATXMGQ3-7 Soloist which features a Basswood body with a quilted Maple top, a three-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement for superior stability, EMG® 707 neck and bridge pickup set, a bound compound-radius (12”-16”) rosewood fingerboard with Piranha Pearloid inlays, 24 jumbo frets, 26.5” scale and a Floyd Rose™ Special bridge.
Below is the SLATXMG3-6 Soloist which features the same specs as the SLATXMGQ3-7 Soloist except that it has EMG® 81 neck and 85 bridge pickups.
There is also a model with a string-through-body Tone Pros™ tune-o-matic bridge which you can see along with the rest of the new range at Jackson Guitars.
