Martin Rosewood Guitars
Press Release
C. F. Martin & Co. (www.martinguitar.com) is bringing some of their outstanding new instruments to the international clientele at the Musikmesse Frankfurt from March 21-24. The iconic acoustic guitar-maker will unveil three innovative guitars that will enhance the brand’s already premiere line of instruments.

Attendees visiting the Martin Guitar booth (3.1 F81) will be able to have the chance to preview the new releases that feature an expansion of the highly successful Performing Artist Series instruments. The models being showcased will include:

DCPA4 Rosewood, GPCPA4 Rosewood, OMCPA4 Rosewood: With the phenomenal success of Martin’s Performing Artist Series guitars launched in January 2010, Martin now introduces brand new versions of these special instruments – the PA4 rosewood models – adding even more tonal color and variety to the PA Series. Three cutaway models are included in the series: Dreadnought (DCPA4 Rosewood), Grand Performance (GPCPA4 Rosewood), and Orchestra Model (OMCPA4 Rosewood). Like their esteemed Sapele and Siris PA4 predecessors, PA4 rosewood models are constructed with solid tonewoods. The back and sides are matched East Indian rosewood, known for its excellent bass response, clear midrange and treble. Book matched Sitka spruce soundboards utilize Martin’s hybrid “A-frame” scalloped bracing. Each of the new models features the slim, more parallel taper at the 12th fret, allowing for a more comfortable playing width up the neck. The bridge spacing is also modified to 2 3/16” – splitting the difference between Martin’s two traditional spacings. Add in Fishman’s simplified F1 Analog electronics array and you have a serious stage and studio instrument with great tone at an affordable price. Equipped with Martin SP Lifespan Acoustic Guitar Strings. Hardshell case included.
