Another day, another Kickstarter project. It seems that Kickstarter et al is becoming the defacto method for low risk product launches and it is a great platform for smaller custom guitar builders such as Kauer Guitars who are introducing a new model called the Acadian and need your support to get the guitar into full production.
“I started with the concept of how to take what we already considered an ergonomic and clear sounding guitar and bring it to the next level. After a bunch of trial and error two major aspects became evident to us: we loved the 26.25″ scale and the clarity of the 2Tek bridge. The 26.25″ scale is long enough to give each player maximum clarity and response but it is still within the limits of most people’s hand size.”
“We didn’t want to lose the warmth of classic archtops so we combined all of these design features with our love of Spanish Cedar bodies and necks. Lightweight, toneful and snappy, this combo has what is lacking in so many other “thinline” jazz guitars.”
