I love the look of Resonator guitars and I’ve always wanted one, it’s on the nice to have list ready for my big lottery win. If I was going to get a Resonator I’d say the Gretsch G9201 “Honey Dipper” would probably be top of my list now. The guitars below are taken from Gretsch’s Roots Collection.

The mahogany-body Boxcar™ Standard and Bobtail™ Deluxe each come in round-neck and square-neck models, and the round-neck Honey Dipper™ has a nickel-plated brass body. The heart of each richly resounding guitar is the new Gretsch Ampli-Sonic resonator cone, hand-spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99-percent pure aluminum for fantastic volume and sonic projection.
