california breed
I’ve got to admit I’m still a little sad that Glenn Hughes and Joe Bonamassa’s collaboration Black Country Communion came to an end but Glenn has stuck with his trusty sticksman Jason Bonham, son of the legendary Led Zep drummer John Bonham (and an absolute beast of a player so he can’t go wrong really) to create a new band called California Breed.

To help matters though Glenn has also recruited the very talented guitar player and singer, 23 year old Andrew Watt, whose song Chameleon you can hear below and will give you an idea of what we might hear from this new band.

I also suggest checking out this video of Andrew Watt that shows him tracking not only the Guitars and Vocals but also Bass and Drums!

Mixing massive riffs, gutsy vocals and gale force rhythms, this powerful three-piece band will release their self-titled debut album in the UK on Monday May 19th on Frontiers Records. The album is produced by Dave Cobb (Jamey Johnson, Rival Sons, Lindi Ortega, Shooter Jennings).
