This looks like a cool little app, it is true that many guitar players get very frustrated because they can’t play their favourite songs until they have learned a handful of chords and get disheartened. This app simplifies songs to use just four chords so you can start impressing your friends and singing around the camp fire sooner rather than later.
“The songs are easy to play because they are re-arranged to easy versions that can be played only with few easy chords. The player doesn´t have to know the notes and tabs to play the songs: Fourchords represents each chord with an icon and shows the player exactly when and where to play it.”
“The other real-life problem that we wanted to fix was that in the jamming sessions the guitarist doesn´t remember the chords or the singers forget the lyrics of the songs. That´s why we added lyrics to all the FourChords songs – then we backed them up with guitar sounds, rhythm and a vocal melody.”
